Genealogy of Modernity II: Possible Modernities Between Medieval & Enlightenment Summer Seminar

The residential, interdisciplinary seminar will investigate the idea of modernity and the age of Enlightenment. Graduate students from all humanities disciplines are invited to apply.

The University of Pennsylvania will be hosting a Summer seminar for graduate students, Genealogy of Modernity II: Possible Modernities Between Medieval & Enlightenment, June 11-15, 2018 in Philadelphia. It is the university’s second seminar on the subject. The residential, interdisciplinary seminar will investigate the idea of modernity and the age of Enlightenment. Graduate students from all humanities disciplines are invited to apply, regardless of whether they are new to the field or returning scholars from last year’s program.
