"Gives you a new appreciation of Whitman and the importance of Camden" "I learned more about Walt Whitman than from all my years of education" "Loved hearing Walt's poetry along with songs of birds by his tomb" "Great opportunity to experience the man, his work, and his era" These are just a few of the comments people made about Walt Whitman and His Invincible City, a heritage tour developed this year by MARCH staff in partnership with South Jersey Tourism Corporation. The tour provided delightful and highly valued experiences to Camden natives, visitors, and newcomers alike in the summer of 2006. The tour is being offered again for the summer of 2007. It is an experience designed to please visitors of all ages, including schoolchildren, families, and seniors.
